My Absolute Favourite Plant Is Up And About Again For The Season. Gunnera (part Of The Gunneraceae Family) Instantly Make You Feel Like You're In A Jurassic Park Movie. The Leaves Are Huge, To Say The Least. I've Long Been Fascinated With Their Texture, Which Lends Itself Perfectly To Black And White. You Can Currently Find These (Summer Months Only) At Various Spots Throughout The UK, Including Winterbourne House & Gardens In Edgbaston, Birmingham.
After A Long And Exhausting Climb, I Reached This Remote Alpine Lake Just As Darkness Fell. Tired But Determined, I Set Up My Tent And Watched The Milky Way Rise Above The Mountains, Perfectly Reflected In The Still Water. Shortly After Capturing This Image, Thunder Rolled Through The Valley. A Storm Was Approaching, And With No Phone Signal, All I Could Do Was Retreat Into My Tent And Wait. Moments Like These Are Why I Love Mountain Photography. The Effort, The Uncertainty, And The Reward. Looking Back, Every Step Of The Climb Was Worth It.
